Is there a dresscode?
Yes, wear your Sunday best or semi-formal attire! Alternatively, you may dress up like a Lord of the Rings character if you have the gumption. Just don’t wear white...please :D
Will there be dinner?
Yes! Catering will be southern BBQ vibes, with vegan and gluten free options. Served by the bride and groom!
What time should I arrive?
We are asking guests to arrive at 4pm for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm! Please don’t cut it too close...I’m looking at you, chronically-late people!
Where is the venue?
Our ceremony and reception will be taking place at Ally’s parents’ house, 1198 Big Oak Rd, Germanton, NC 27019. The ceremony will take place in a grassy field a little away from the house—please keep this in mind when choosing footwear!
Where should I park?
Please park on the right side of the road starting in front of 1198 Big Oak Rd. If the street fills up, there’s plenty of grass! There will be signs out, too.
Can I bring a plus one?
If you received a special Wonka ticket with your invitation, you are permitted a plus one!
Are my kids allowed?
Sure! If you have a plus one available to you or your invitation is addressed to you and your spouse or partner, you are more than welcome to bring a child (hopefully your own) rather than your spouse or partner.
Where can I stay?
This one is tricky! Germanton, NC is about 30-40mins away from Winston-Salem, as well as Mt. Airy. There are hotels a-plenty in both of those areas. Unfortunately, not much lodging is available in Germanton proper. King, NC may have some options. If you need help finding somewhere to stay overnight, please reach out to 757-266-2806
